OUR NEXT PROJECT GOAL
Our Next Goal Is: Our next goal is to procure an articulated Translink style bus (or one of similar size) and have it operate for homeless passengers, especially in the cold months, offering at the very least a safe, and relevantly comfortable, night’s sleep. It is irrefutable that a good nights rest is an essential part of an recovery plan, especially for anyone living on the streets. It is time to provide at least this for those attempting to get their Lives back to some level of normalcy. In doing so, we will alleviate the number of people sleeping on downtown streets at night.
This will also help to alleviate crime within that community, and likely other widespread positive impacts. Analysis and consultation in progress. All feedback and suggestions are welcome.

The Canadian Flowers for Food Society provides social and financial opportunities and support for marginalized groups including homeless people, senior citizens and/or those coping with mental illnesses in Canada. Although helping these groups to obtain immediate financial assistance is a part of the society’s vision, we also facilitate, and equip, individuals to work toward realistic personal goals to improve their long-term quality of life.
