Among other achievements, we are the first to have a Floral Donation program allowing participants to generate income for daily Life necessities, via floral donations, on downtown Vancouver streets, and at local events.
The Canadian Flower for Food Society is the first to introduce Floral Bouquet Design Classes at seniors residences including the Oakridge Senior Centre, the Haro Centre, Crofton Manor, and many others over our 13 years of service to Vancouver communities. Please visit our photo page to see testaments of our achievements, and smiles, over the years.
We are also the first to have donated floral baskets and potted plants from local malls, such as the Oakridge Centre, to residents at local senior residences, including the Haro Centre, Barley Manor, Crofton Manor, and others over 13 years of operation, as part of our Floral Outreach Program.
Our society also initiated a Restaurant and Business Office Floral Bouquet Delivery Program, delivering floral bouquets created by participants at our Floral Bouquet Design classes.
